Sheila Coghill is professor of English and chair of the English department at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she teaches a senior capstone course in Whitman and Dickinson. With Thom Tammaro, she is co-editor of Visiting Emily: Poems Inspired by the Life and Work of Emily Dickinson (Iowa 2000), winner of the 2001 Minnesota Book Award.
