University of Iowa Press books are available for purchase or order from local bookstores and through online bookstores. You may also order through this website, by phone, fax, or mail.
Order through this site by clicking the Add to Cart button on any individual book page. To check the contents of your shopping cart or to complete your order, click the Shopping Cart button on any book page. You will receive an e-mail confirmation upon completion of your order. If a book is not in stock when your order is placed, it will be sent when available. Your credit card will be charged when your order is shipped.
To order by phone, call 800-621-2736 or 773-702-7010. You will be asked to specify author, title, binding (hardcover or paperback), and ISBN for each book ordered.

All orders must be prepaid. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express as well as checks and money orders made payable to the University of Iowa Press.
If you are at an Illinois address, please add 9% sales tax to your order.
If you are ordering from Canada, please add 7% GST to your order. The University of Iowa Press remits GST to Revenue Canada. Your books will be shipped from inside Canada, and you will not be assessed Canada Post’s border handling fee.
For shipping and handling, add $7.00 for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book. Overseas shipping is by surface mail. Customers should allow up to six weeks for surface delivery. For overseas air delivery add $13.00 for the first book and $7.50 for each additional book.
