Ted Abel & Joshua Weiner, series editors
This broadly conceived and interdisciplinary series features short, up-to-date introductions to key neuroscience topics written by researchers who have made major contributions to the field. These books broaden our understanding of how the complexity of brain circuitry gives rise to our behaviors, memories, emotions, and personality traits, as well as how its dysfunction leads to the psychiatric and neurological disorders millions of people face. The series also includes memoirs and commentary by individuals whose personal encounters with brain disorders have intermingled with and informed their professional work in science and beyond.
