Max Shulman is assistant professor of theatre at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He is coeditor of Performing the Pro­gressive Era: Immigration, Urban Life, and Nationalism on Stage (Iowa, 2019). He lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
