David Borofka teaches composition and literature at Kings River Community College. He has received the Missouri Review’s Editors’ Prize and the Carolina Quarterly’s Charles B. Wood Award for Distinguished Writing. His stories have been published in the Southern Review, Black Warrior Review, and Greensboro Review, among others. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Clovis, California.
